Lulu and Thunder Mountains

As it turns out, this would be the last significant Colorado hike of the year do for me due to developing a tear in the meniscus of my right knee. Don't really know when it happened but I don't think it was on this trip. The next week I did fine in Arizona and Nevada.

Thunder Mt is the Neota Wilderness Area highpoint.

Thunder Mt at 12,040 ft. was my primary target. Lulu is 200 feet higher but is not a wilderness highpoint.

Lulu is a better looking peak. The wind picked up when I got on top and blew one of my gloves out of my hand and over the side of the mountain. I was lucky to retrieve it and had to drop a couple of hundred feet to do so. Lulu is in the foreground, taken from on top of Thunder.
