We covered a lot of ground over the weekend. Hiked Green Mountain in the FlatIrons, stopped at the Garden of the Gods, drove up Pikes Peak, walked around the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, stayed in Cripple Creek then took the old Gold Camp road back into Colorado Springs and hike Mount Rosa along the way.
Nate came for a long weekend and we headed down toward Colorado Springs for a few sights.
