Skyscraper Peak from our approach.
Nate and I camped on Jones Pass Road the night before and had planned on hiking Byers Peak. The road to the Byers Peak trailhead, however, was closed due to the Sugarloaf Wildfire.
To change it up we decided to head to Rollins Pass. This was a 14 mile bumpy gravel road from the Winter Park side.
Once on top we explored the old road and train route, the hotel ruins and hiked to the summit of Skyscraper Peak.
