Saranac Lake Camping Trip

This was a 2 night camping trip on Saranac Lake, joined by my friends Jason, Matt and Brian.  

Daryn and I would be spending the following week doing some hiking so I dropped Daryn at the Blue Mountain Trailhead and he hiked the Northville Placid Trail to the Seward Trailhead where I left the truck for him.  Daryn would hike up to the truck while I camped and canoed.

We put in canoes at the Saranac Lake Isles Public Campground on Rte 3 and paddled out to an island campsite on Lower Saranac Lake (#19).

Great weather and fun paddling and cliff jumping.  Weather came in early on Sunday morning and forced us to break down camp around 6 AM and get out before the worst of it.
