Russell Peak

Fri Nov 09 2018

A view from the divide.

Nate and I drove to Berthoud Pass on Friday 11/9 to do a little snowshoeing on the Continental Divide.

Route 40 takes you to Berthoud Pass at about 11,300 ft above sea level.  From there we hiked up about 1,000 feet to the top of Russell Peak.

A lot of snow for this time of year and the way up was packed down pretty well by the back country skiers.

Nate at the top.
