Pikes Peak/Devil's Playground

Brian had to change his plans and leave on Saturday, so after dropping Brian for his rental car we decided to head south to Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak.

We took the Pikes Peak toll road up to Devils Playground and parked.  We finished hiking up to Devils Playground peak and then hit the trail toward the summit of Pikes Peak.   

 

Nate, Daryn and I waited at the base of Little Pikes while Aaron and Tom ran up, then we made our way to the summit.  This was a fun climb, approximately 3.5 miles and about all we were looking for after coming off of Longs.
