Parry Peak

One of the reasons I started hiking Colorado Wilderness Highpoints was that I just happened to hike James Peak, which at the time was listed as the wilderness highpoint for the James Peak Wilderness Area.  

This year, I noticed that the James Peak Wilderness Area Highpoint had been corrected to Parry Peak, the actual highpoint.   I decided to hike Parry Peak from Berthoud Pass.   This didn't look too bad on the map, but ended up being about 12 miles and just over 4000 feet of elevation gain on an out and back hike.  A little more than I was planning on but not too bad.
