On top of the Presidential Range
After leaving East Mountain, VT, Daryn and I drove to New Hampshire for a hike in the Whites. We brought the trailer and camped at my friend Tim's house in North Haverhill. We left out early on a Saturday morning and started from Jefferson Notch and took the Caps Ridge Trail up Mt. Jefferson first.
On Jefferson we were completely socked in with clouds, from there we headed down the Gulfside Trail toward Washington. Toward the bottom of the col the clouds started to blow out and the views picked up. Windy at times, but overall not too bad.
We went down via the Lake of the Clouds Hut and the Amonoosuc Ravine Trail to the cog rail station.
