Mt. Evans

Nate and Jeremy on the summit of Mt. Evans, 14,264 feet!
We woke up at our KOA in Alamosa and it was Keith and Jer's last day. We headed into Alamosa and got coffee at Milagros Coffee House.
The plan was to head home and take a ride up the Mt. Evans road on the way. Then deliver Keith and Jeremy to their hotel near the airport.
The road was closed to the east due to the Spring Fire, so it forced us to head up 285. Once we reached Fairplay, we decided to take Rt 9 up to Breckenridge and hit I-70 in Frisco.
We drove up the Mt. Evans road and saw some mountain goats, then we hiked up to the summit and poked around the summit area.
Once we got home we packed up and headed toward the airport. Keith and Jeremy were staying close by, Nate and I headed straight to the airport to pick up Daryn and my friend Brian Nentwick.
