Las Vegas Trip

Vegas from our room on the 23rd floor!
Sally and I went to Las Vegas in October! Great weather and a good trip. We stayed at the Downtown Grand off of Fremont Street. We hiked in Red Rock Canyon and then visited with my high school friend Terry and his wife Linda on Friday. Saturday we drove out to Zion in Utah which was fun but the park was toooooo busy and we had trouble parking anywhere. We stopped for lunch and beer at the Zion Canyon Brewery in Springdale on the way out.
Sunday we went for breakfast at MTO on Main Street and poked around near Henderson and in the Vegas arts district.
Monday we checked out, walked around the strip a bit and then said good-bye to Terry at Planet Hollywood. We had some lunch and got our picture taken at Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina.
