John 5

This was a big weekend in Vegas.  I met up with my high school buddy Daryn and on our agenda was to play golf and see John 5.  This is the second year in a row that we've made this trip.

The first day we met up with our other high school friend, Terry and played golf at the Wildhorse Golf Club.  We had a good time and it was fun to catch up with our friend Terry.  Later, we headed over to Terry and his wife Linda's for dinner.

Saturday was John 5 day.  We went out early and toured around Red Rock Canyon and then stopped at the Yardhouse in Red Rock Canyon Resort for lunch before heading back to the city.  We had VIP passes at Vamp'd for the meet and greet.  The show was great.  Lots of fun and we headed back to Fremont street afterward, where we were staying.

Sunday, we played some more golf at Eagle Crest.  This was a really nice course but only a par 60 out in Summerlin.  It turned out to be a good choice.  Afterward we got some lunch at Steiner's Pub and went to the hotel pool to relax before heading to the airport later to drop Daryn off.
