Buffalo Peaks

This is a pair of 13ers outside Buena Vista, Colorado. 10 mile hike with about 3800 ft of gain. Road hike to about 11,500 ft then just cross country. No trail. Saw 2 moose, 2 mountain goats, a deer and herd about 100 pika chirping at us.
Nate and I had a good day here. The boulder field coming down seemed unending. Beautiful day. Wish I was able to get a picture of the moose we scared out of the thicket.
