View of Marcy and the high peaks from Mt. Van Hoevenberg
We were supposed to be hiking up Camel's Hump with Aaron Snyder to finish his Northeast 115, but due to car troubles on Aaron's side, Brian and I decided to change directions and head to the Adirondacks.
Neither of us had been up Van Hoevenberg so we decided to do that and we tacked on Mt. Jo because they were both short hikes.
Very cold to start the day but beautiful and sunny. We ran into our friend Eric Infante on the way up Mt. Jo and saw him again down at the lodge.
We stopped at the new Big Slide brewery in Lake Placid for lunch afterward. Great day!
